If you sang the above lyrics instead of reading them, you are just like me! That is a snippet from my childhood favourite - Disney's "Pinocchio". I grew up watching Disney movies and this iconic song always remind me that it only take a wish for my dreams to come true. You may argue that just by making a wish, nothing comes true but you are missing the point. The fundamental value that I see from this song is that one should never give up hope – and this will eventually motivate you to achieve what your heart desires. Personally, I believe everything has its perfect time – even wishes. 

Speaking about making a wish, this “comeback” blog entry is all about my WishList for 2017. “Errrmmm….isn’t Christmas another 9 months away Melvin?” you may ask. Some of you may even point out it’s too early to hint for my birthday gift. Let me assure you that if my fairy godparents over at the #1 Online Cashback/Rebates site in Malaysia reads this, I may just get my wish granted by 31^st March!

Marvelous 4D3N Macau 2015 (#DreamTripComeTrue) - Day 2

First day waking up in Macau. Today we will be checking-into one of the most prestigious hotels in Macau thanks to MGTO! This hotel has been host to countless celebrities and also hosted Manchester United's football team when it was newly opened in 2007. It is none other than --> THE VENETIAN MACAO!!! I am sure many of you would have seen the selfie of David Beckham recently in the hotel's swimming pool too :)

Whoa..looks like travelling in 2015 is off to a good start!

The day is finally here! Me, Sueann, Carrine and TT will be leaving to KLIA 2 in while. The excitement is building up. TT has been tasked with preparing the itinerary because he has been to Macau 3 years ago. We met up in Penang last week to have a discussion on the trip. The girls were mostly into shopping while the guys wanted to explore the city by foot as much as possible! Somehow we reached a consensus on a balanced itinerary and we also decided to skip going to Hong Kong (rest assured that trying the food was #1 on each of our must do lists!). We all agreed that HK needs a separate holiday by its own (bye bye Disneyland plans) *sob sob*

恭喜发财!! (Kung Hei Fat Choy) This 4 Chinese characters which means congratulations and be prosperous is the most used greeting during Chinese New Year. I would highly recommend adding another 4 characters 红包拿来 (Angpow nalai) to it if you are unmarried. It not only rhymes but also elevates the 4 characters into 8 characters which is an auspicious number for the Chinese :) Having lived in Malaysia all my life, i have already experienced 3 complete cycles of the Chinese zodiac (the Chinese astrological calendar). Each zodiac kicks-off with the Chinese New Year Celebration - just like how the western world celebrates New Year every 1st of January.

Marvelous 4D3N Macau 2015 (#DreamTripComeTrue) - Pre Trip

The beside image is proof that dreams do come true! All one needs is hard work and a bit of luck :) I was having my lunch when Cindy tagged me in this post by Nuffnang. I was overwhelmed by joy and could already picture myself taking a selfie at the famous Ruins of St. Paul! I quickly called my other half to inform her and she goes, "Wow! I knew you would win dear! So are you bringing me?"

There is only one answer to that and after a few calls and Whatsapp discussion with friends, 2 more decided to join us on this trip.

[Music Review] R2Rick - Stay Tonight

Growing up in a Christian family, i have been exposed to music since i was a baby. The sounds of the musical instruments in church, the lovely voices of the choir & the joyous Christmas carols nurtured my love for the worlds most famous language-music! It was also in church that i learnt to play an array of musical instruments that include the guitar, bongo, drums, tambourine and maracas. Although i enjoy various genres of music, i have only reviewed them verbally to my close friends and family. I never thought of writing a blog review on a piece of music until i was contacted by R2Rick for his song "Stay Tonight" :)
